Journey to the Source: Our Latest Expedition to Sustainably Forest-Farmed Coffee in Northern Thailand.

On our recent trip to northern Thailand, we visited the Akha tribe's forest-grown coffee at an altitude of 1000–1400 meters. Here, our single-origin coffee is cultivated using traditional methods without chemicals and with a strong focus on preserving the forest ecosystem.

We met the producers and documented the post-harvest drying process. The coffee grows naturally in the shade of tropical forest trees, which gives it its unique flavor profile – citrus, chocolate, and a floral aftertaste.

This expedition shows why we have chosen these specific producers: long-term relationships, full traceability, and genuine sustainability. Every bag of Aurora coffee tells a story from these mountains.
